    • Most products are par-baked — 80% of the baking is done in our oven, so you can finish at home in minutes.

    • Sliced breads and cro'gels are fully baked, ready to toast!

    • Our cookie dough is raw.

  • Yes. All products arrive frozen, in a box containing recyclable insulation, dry ice and gel packs. When they arrive, pop them in your freezer!

    If they are not completely frozen, it's ok, as long as they feel cold to the touch.

  • Do not touch dry ice with bare hands, use a towel or oven mitts. 

    Simply leave it in its specialized bag inside the insulated liner and let it sublimate (evaporate) in a well-ventilated area, like a porch or garage.

    Dry ice is not toxic to your products, it is 100% safe for keeping them frozen during transit.

  • Our sealed packaging keeps everything bakery-fresh for up to 6 months. However, most of our members find their box empty within the first week once the kids realize how good the croissants taste!

    • Our breads are made with natural sourdough, through a slow-fermentation process. This breaks down the gluten network and makes digestion easier.
    • Our breads are 100% organic.
    • We use no preservatives and no additives.

    This is why our sourdough baguette was voted Best in D.C.!

  • Currently, we focus on traditional, long-fermentation organic sourdough breads. While our long fermentation process makes our bread easier to digest for many with mild gluten sensitivities, our facility is not certified gluten-free.

  • All of our organic breads are 100% vegan. Our croissants and pastries are crafted with cage-free eggs and real butter, making them vegetarian but not vegan. You can find a full ingredient list on each product page.

  • We are not a nut-free facility. And, we process wheat, dairy, sesame, nuts and eggs. Transparency is our priority, so every package clearly lists all ingredients and potential allergens.
